I was called an "ugly person" by a JW because of my book. This sister said that she doesn't mind me not being a JW but she hates me because I trashed JWs in my book. I told her that I didn't trash it I just wrote what I have learned about the Org in 15 years. And I had to remind her that my book is not about JWs. But I have a fictional character an ex JW and I wrote a few paragraphs on JWs, not a whole book. She was surprised that her insult didn't affect me. First of all I know JWs very good. I have seen with my own eyes how much they hate people and how much they are jealous. So since I am DFed I knew they will use every opportunity to insult me if they will see me. Secondly brothers and sisters who know me know that there is no point to argue with me as I have good knowledge of the Bible. I didn't leave Org for fun, I left it for very strong and serious reasons. So JWs who know me have nothing else to do but to insult me. It just shows how lost are JWs since the Armaggedon was postponed.

Anybody here still believe in the bible?
by Mel Morris ini'm a current bible student of jw's looking to chat with someone about biblical doctrine.
i'm not interested in talking with an apostate or a fader, i'm just a person looking for answers and wondered if there are any neutral voices in this forum who have good insights into the bible.
i currently talk with a couple of jw's on a personal level from my congregation and they are knowledgeable to a certain extent, but i dare not ask them certain questions because, as you know, the congregation has a culture of fear that impacts trust and openness, especially concerning biblical doctrine or the societies teachings.

Hi Mel, I don't believe that Bible is from God, but I believe it was written by smart people and the book is great. Obviously not every part as the world have changed. Have a look at my book 'If Only', Chapter V second half. I think it will be interesting for you. Even though my book is not about religion I have an ex JW character and I wrote her thoughts in that chapter. My book is not banned by JW and I am not DFed. Here is the link https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07C9GF3WF/ref=tmm_kin_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=&sr=
Hopefully this information will be helpful for you

Another article about doing the ministry. They will make same articles after 1000 years. In 3018 they will publish the same stuff. Telling members that in 1918 brothers and sisters didn't stop.

Since the Armagedon was cancelled the Organisation will slowly become a usual church. Where people will go because their parents used to. Like Orthodox church for example that is selling candles, icons and other merchandise and Orthodox followers dont mind buying it they understand it is for fun. I hope JWs one day will realise that what they do is not serious just another hobby to kill time.

Did your ability to work get affected by waking up to TTATT?
by stuckinarut2 injust curious.. when you started to wake up to the truth about the truth, did the shock and the whole experience distract you from your usual activities such as performing at your place of work?.
did you become so consumed by researching, and the subsequent factual discoveries, that it affected your ability to carry out daily tasks?.

It didn't happen with me. Even though at one point I was a pioneer I never allowed Organisation to take full control of my life. Very slowly I was studying the real truth about the truth. For about 10 years. And gradually I stopped going to the meetings and bothering with brothers and sisters. So last year when I stopped going fully it was quite easy. It didn't affect my schedule at all. I think if to drop it instantly that will come as a shock, but it didn't happen in my situation. I became a witness in a slow manner and I left it same way.

Are YOU Shunned By JW Family or Friends?
by minimus insome who are not disfellowshipped are still shunned i also know thereβ are disfellowshipped ones that family still associate with..

I am not dfed, but the majority of my relatives and jws avoid me. I stopped going to the meetings and when so called brothers and sisters asked me why I respond that for me there is no difference between Babylon the great and the Organisation. Both are fraud. But I always wish them good luck on their spiritual career. I find it funny how offended they get. JWs depend on human opinion to much. Thats why they avoid everyone and stay amongst themselves to convince each other that they are important. π

My 2018 convention review (BR)
by Ray Frankz inso this years convention was all about:.
1) neutrality means not taking sides.
jws must not have any opinions about politics, even if it affects you or your job or your social class directly.. also .

Thank you for your report Ray Frankz. Yep, the organisation is going more and more down the hill. Poor children who are raised in such a crazy environment. When this great tribulation will come I hope all JW parents will be punished first for being plainly stupid and uneducated

Are Jehovah's Witnesses selfish??
by stuckinarut2 inis the average jehovah's witness selfish and self-centred?.
i know, i know...many will object and say "no - preaching is the most selfless thing a jw can do.
it saves others lives...".

From my experience I think 9 out of 10 JWs are selfish people. I have seen with my own eyes how during CO week JWs avoid some of the brothers and sisters at the KH to look super spiritual in front of CO. The majority of JWs think only about their status within the organisation and they will sacrifice anything - family, children, parents etc. It is exactly the same when employees would do anything to get a promotion. So they are selfish, self-centered, weakhearted, childish and dull. I am very sorry for saying this but only a dull person will exchange spirituality over family. For me greedy material people and greedy spiritual people are the same. This world is only about them they don't care at all about the rest.
